Pedalplayground: How to use this pedalboard planner

Pedalplayground.com is a user-friendly website with a free guitar and bass planning tool. You can plan and layout your perfect pedalboard, no matter the brand you’re using. Organizing and placing effects for a new pedalboard is always a new and fun adventure; why not spend some time playing around?

1. Is this the most complete pedalboard planner?

Well, the main difference between this pedalboard planner and the rest is that it has been created using Github.com, enabling brands or users with some code knowledge to add their own products to, what is going to becoma sooner or later, the largest pedalboard and effects pedal database available.

4. How to layout and plan your pedalboard? 

You just need to select your pedalboard and your effects pedals from the drop-down lists on your left. 

Once you’ve got them on the canvas; drag and drop all your elements to plan and rearrange your pedalboard. You can also rotate and remove them if needed. 

5. How to add a custom pedal or pedalboard that it's not in the list? 

If you don’t find the product you’re looking for, your can also add it manually.

Add Custom Pedalboard: Choose its width and height. 

Add Custom Pedal: You can choose width and height; name it, and even color it.

6. Do not forget cables & connectors 

Reserve some room for your cables, connectors, fasteners or whatever you might need to complete your pedalboard. This is a nice tool to visually help you plan and organize your pedalboard without the hassle of doing it in real life; but keep in mind that there's a chance of small dimensional errors, so keep a small operational margin.

7. Add the fasteners to your Smart Track Pedalboard 

Pedalplayground is the only pedalboard planner that will let you place Aclam's fasteners on the Smart Track pedalboard, so you can check their positioning before making the final decision! 

Fasteners are hidden at the “Add a Pedal” section. 

Tip: When locating your fasteners, keep in mind that the screw should match with a groove. 

Additionally, to minimize space loss, we recommend not stacking fasteners one against the other, if you can use different grooves, you will be able to keep pedals closer to each other.
